Seasonal Dehumidifier Checklist

Dehumidifier Seasonal Checklist - Almax

Before you use your Industrial Dehumidifier for the season, make sure you have been through the checklist below.

The checklist is essential as lots of painters are starting to use their dehumidifiers again for the colder months, and often, they've been pushed into the corner of the shed and get covered in dust!

  • Remove the dust cover.
  • Clean away any collected dust from around the dehumidifier.
  • Clean down the condenser with an air blow gun to remove any collected dust.
  • Make sure the discharge pump is clean of any collected water.
  • Run a cycle of clean water through the pump to remove any residue.
  • Check the electrical plug and power cord.
  • Make sure you are in a dust-free area before turning the unit on.

When storing your dehumidifier, it should always be covered with the supplied protection cover to stop all workshop dust from entering the dehumidifier.
