ICRIS News
The latest version of ICRIS is 16.0.2.
What's new?
- They have added a setup option to show toner weights to 3 decimal places on the 'To File' option when weighing.
- The formula print now contains recommended matt advice for matt formulas, compared to what is currently displayed on-screen.
- Improvements have been made to the Spectrophotometer software installation to prevent connection issues after upgrading.
- Resolved a bug that was on occasion causing the application to crash when performing a Spectro search.
- Issues with the Data Update process that were preventing some users from updating formulas has been fixed.
- The Stock Management module now issues a warning message if emails for stock warning messages are orders are unable to be sent.
- Alternate formulations have been added - details below.
If you are updating ICRIS from version 16.0 or earlier, due to the size of this update, you must update ICRIS from the Valspar Auto Support website
Login to the site with your username and password (first time users may need to register first) and download A04 ICRIS_Setup.v16.0.2.exe
In ICRIS 16.0.2 you may notice extra formulations as highlighted below.
Alternate formulas are in ICRIS for other regions and do not apply to ANZ.
Please switch this function off by selecting System > Setup > (untick) Show alternate colours for unavailable toners.
Update your ICRIS version to ensure you have the latest functionality.
Colour Information Book 1
Solid Colours
For DeBeer systems, the Colour Information Book 1 for Solid Colours is not yet formulated in DeBeer 2000 series. Sherwin-Williams are trying to prioritise formulation, but they expect a 6-9 month wait at the very least.
In the meantime, please raise a CSF request for any solid colours you require to be formulated. Alternatively, if you have one available, you could refer to the old Valspar Colour Map Book 1.
DeBeer 900+ Toners
For accurate colour replication every time, please be sure to shake the toner containers by hand for 30 seconds before adding to the formula mix.
Mazda
51K Rhodium White Metallic
The new Mazda CX-60 has been released, and while we wait for them to appear in showrooms, we ask you to keep an eye out for cut-out panels for this new colour. Note it is not yet available in ICRIS.
A 'thank you' reward is offered for any panels sent in.
CX Range Wheel Formula
ICRIS has a formula for a shadow chrome colour in DeBeer 900+ series that may prove helpful.
Whilst this formula is unapproved by Sherwin-Williams global colour labs, they invite you to save it to your custom database (please note it has an undercoat). The topcoat is thinned at 20% to achieve a smoother effect/flake lay. As always, check the colour before application.
