ANZ Colour Dept Update Spring 2023
Welcome to the spring edition of the Sherwin-Williams Automotive Australia Colour Department Update for 2023.
Colour Box Update 38
Sherwin-Williams are pleased to announce that Colour Box update 38 has been released and is in stock at our warehouse. Update 38 contains 114 colour chips (7 Solid Colour and 107 Effect Colours). These have all been matched to supplied OEM panels.
This update will suit both the original Valspar Colour Box and the new Valspar Global Colour Box.
Distributors will be provided these updates based on customer numbers provided earlier this year and will be shipped out with your next stock order.

ICRIS 16.0.12
Sherwin-Williams have released an updated version of the ICRIS application that is now available from the Valspar support website. This updated version was released in order to fix an issue identified in ICIRS 16.0.11, the fix is:
- They have removed the mandatory installation of the C++ Redistributable & .Net Framework software, you will now be able to install the latest version of ICIRS without these errors showing.
Please note if you currently have 16.0.11 running on your PC, there is no need to update to 16.0.12 as it this new version only addresses the installation issue.

VP60 Available in ICRIS
Recently Sherwin-Williams launched Valspar® Refinish VP60 Epoxy Primer Gray onto the market. Sherwin-Williams wish to inform you that the mixing information for VP60 is now available in the latest version of ICRIS.
VP60 replaces the now discontinued VP50 Epoxy Primer Buff and its activator VPC50.
Request for Panel Samples
As an ongoing process to improve their colours, Sherwin-Williams require a steady supply of sample panels to send to their colour lab for study and formulation.
At the moment they are targeting panel samples from the following makes:
- BYD
- Great Wall
- Chery
- Mazda (Soul Red, Rhodium White)
- Haval
- MG
Samples should be between 10 to 30 cm in size. If you have samples for us to collect, please reach out to your local technical rep and they can arrange collection.
