Welcome to the latest update from the Sherwin-Williams Colour Department.
In this update we've got updates on Colour Box 40, a new version of ICRIS and other news to assist in getting you the most out of our colour tools and resources.

Colour Box Update 40
We wish to announce the launch of Colour Box update 40.
Update 40 contains 136 new chips of which, 19 are solid colours and 117 are effect colours. We have also reintroduced the 6 Grey Shade chips.

Extra Storage Shelf
We are also happy to announce the launch of an additional storage shelf to our Valspar Colour Box to assist with your colour chip storage.
This storage shelf is designed to give you storage space for an additional six fan decks. It is designed for for the old Valspar Colour Box, not our current Global Colour Box.

We are also pleased to announce the release of ICRIS 17.3.
This release includes the following:
- Implemented support for the Collison Core Spectro.
- Added mixing logic for the new PVD Metallic Solvent toner.
- Improved the reliability of the Spectro Wi-Fi connection.
- The coarseness of effect colours is now displayed on the Formula Screen rather than the Colour Selection Screen and the coarseness of Industrial and Motorcycle & Fantasy colours is now also displayed.
- Some redundant code was removed, and other code was refactored to help reduce the size of the installation file.
- The Spectro Search performance has been further optimized to give faster results.
- Improved the use of the Spectrophotometer when searching for Motorcycle Colours.
- Various bugs fixes including:
- Resolved an issue in the Spectro "Archive and delete" function not that was preventing this from working as designed.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the application to crash when using the Stock Management Weighing Dialogue and the system language is set to Polish. This dialogue is required for periodic stock taking.
- Fixed a problem that caused an “Error storing readings” message when attempting to Archive and Delete readings after installing the Spectro firmware update 2_5_2_51067.
- Application update (System → Application Update) did not trigger any action. This has been resolved.
- A fix has been realized for an invalid file format error when exporting Prices to Excel with a custom file name (any filename other than Prices.xlsx).
- Resolved an intermittent problem when switching between Spectro UI and CRS UI.
- A fix was applied for the Usage print report not fitting the page width.
- Invalid toners in the Custom Formula product dropdown are now filtered out correctly.
- The calculation of the AA300 Dryer in VIM PB330 formulas has been corrected.
- Corrected a small number of records that were present in the database with an invalid date.
- Now correctly identify Xirallic DeBeer BeroBase 500 series formulas.
- Codes for the Mysterious Colour toners are now displaying correctly.
- The Industrial IMA.TB320 binder percentage is now set correctly.
