ICRIS System Requirements Update
Sherwin-Williams wish to inform you that ICRIS support for PC's running the 32-bit version of Windows will be discontinued.
This update will take effect with version 16.2 which is expected for general release in early 2025.
If you run ICRIS on a PC manufactured after 2010, please disregard this notification. No action is required on your part.
If you run ICRIS on a PC from 2010 or before, please read on.
What you need to do
You will need to check if your PC is running a 32-bit operating system. This will mostly be the case for PC's manufactured before the mid-2000's.
How to check your operating system
On your PC, go to: "System > About".
From there, you will be able to confirm your System Type. See below screenshot for example.
What to do next
If you have a 64-bit operating system, you do not need to take any action. Although, Sherwin-Williams recommend updating PC's every few years to avoid issues with outdated hardware & software.
If you found you do have a 32-bit operating system, you will need to update your operating system or your PC in order to keep utilising ICRIS software. Please seriously consider doing so before the next release rolls out in Q1 of 2025.
Please circulate this communication with your team and reach out to the colour department (colour.aus@sherwin.com) if you have any questions.
