ICRIS News
The newly released ICRIS Version 15.18.0 brings you:
Valspar Refinish 303 Acrylic
Good news! Every time a new automotive colour is formulated in Valspar Refinish, it will also be converted to the VR 303 Acrylic binder. Update your formulas by selecting System>Data Update then Start.
Data updates from Wednesday, 14 July will take a lot longer so please be patient.
Valspar Industrial Mix TB320
Note that all existing VIM TB300 solid colour formulations have been copied to TB320. Any new VIM formulations will be created by the colour lab and converted to TB320 where possible. Please always check colour formulations before application.
You can now save your TB320 formulas to your Customs database.
To enable TB320 formulations in ICRIS, go to System > Setup > Colour Systems and tick TB320 in the Industrial tab.
Motor and Fantasy Colourbox
The ICRIS 15.18.0 release includes the motorcycle formulations from the Motor and Fantasy Colourbox.
This functionality needs to be switched on by going to System > Setup > Colour Box Motorcycle.
Now, when you access the motorcycle brand, you will see that the number 1 is present in the Box column for all current Motor and Fantasy Colourbox colours.
Motor and Fantasy Colourbox updates are due to arrive in our warehouse mid-August. We'll keep you posted.
Update your ICRIS version to ensure you have the latest functionality.
Online ICRIS users can update their program by clicking on System > Application Update
Panel Cut-Out Needed

If you have an unfortunate customer who has adequately damaged their new Lexus and you can spare us a cut-out panel, it would be very much appreciated. Details are:

Dymo Label Print Solution
Printing Blank Labels via ICRIS
There was a bug in the Dymo label software 8.7.4 which has not been rectified. Please uninstall this and install 8.7.1 or 8.7.3.
You will also need to ensure that Microsoft Windows Security Update number KB5000808 is UNINSTALLED from your computer: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates, select KB5000808, then Uninstall.
These particular issues are not ICRIS related but will affect your ability to print labels via ICRIS.
DeBeer 500 Series Tint Guide
Product Launch
Our new Tint Guide replaces the old style guide and highlights each toners' individual characteristics. Icons and descriptions depicting each toners' face, flop1/flop2 directions and coarseness value assist the paint applicator to adjust and create accurate colour formulations.
This tint chart can be ordered using order code 555001.
Getting Up Close & Personal with Effects
July's beautiful effect colour is Xirallic White.
Xirallic White is my favourite effect toner when viewing under the microscope. Note how it reflects all the rainbow colours - all colours mixed together give you white.
Xirallic White presents an interference crystal effect, with a sparkling blueish-white flash angle. The face is whiteish with a white clean flop 2 over a solid white coat. There is no flop 2 colour influence in toner mixtures. Its coarseness value is 4.
This toner is most popular in white pearls, but often present in black and a variety of hues for effect finishes.

- Mazda 47J Gunblue Mica
- Great Wall 8M Crystal Black Pearl.
