Preparing for Future Colour Retrieval
If your bodyshop is not online, it's time to get future-ready and get internet connection for your paint rooms. This can be done via WiFi connection (direct or boosted via a dongle) or directly cabled in.
Future versions of our colour retrieval software will predominantly be online.
Update your ICRIS version to ensure you have the latest functionality.
Online ICRIS users can update their program by clicking on System > Application Update
Mettler Toledo Scales Upgrade
Introducing the new RPA455xx Scales
Mettler Toledo have discontinued the BBA242xx scales and the new RPA455xx scales replace them. The RPA455xx features TFT colour touchscreen and a 3 metre power/USB cable in one.
The new scale will work on the same software as the previous scale, however, to ensure optimal operation make sure you select the BBA242 mode in the application menu on the RPA455 before the first use. Then select RPA455 in the Scale Setup menu of ICRIS. Scales installation instructions are attached to the link below.

Protect Your Investment
Protective covers are available for purchase to protect your scales from overspray and paint spills. They come in a pack of 10 and simply clip on to the display, the column, or the weighing platter.

Getting Up Close & Personal with Effects
Our effect colour for June is Bright Orange Metallic.
This bright orange metallic toner has what we call a dollar flake (note the curved smooth edges like a coin). It has a clean face, bright flop 1 and a dark neutral flop 2. It is classified as 'coarse' with a coarseness value of 3 - refer to the coarseness selector.
You will find this toner present in formulations such as 2021 Hyundai YR2 Lava Orange Met, Honda R569M Radiant Red and dominating the Kia G7A Pop Orange Pearl Met (2021), dominating the Mitsubishi M11 Bright Orange Met (2016), M13 Orange Met (2018) and Isuzu 570 Valencia Orange Met (2019) and Isuzu 570 Valencia Orange Met (2019) formulations.
