Linkup Hamilton Price Match Policy

Linkup Paint Supplies Ltd (Linkup) is committed to providing our customers with the best value for their money, which is why we offer a Price Match Policy. If you find a lower price on an identical product at a competing retailer, you can request a price match—provided the item is in stock at both the competitor and Linkup at the time of the request. The competitor’s price must be verified by Linkup, and for online comparisons, all associated costs including delivery fees, taxes, and other charges must be included.
The product must:
- Be identical: Same brand, model, size, colour, condition, and specifications.
- Be in stock and available: The product must be in stock and showing the lower price when the claim is checked by our staff. If you submit a claim outside business hours, the product must still be available at the lower price on the next working day. If there's a delay on our end, we'll do our best to approve the claim where possible.
Note: The lower price must be verifiable, and delivery fees must be factored into the comparison where applicable
To make a claim you'll need to provide (current and dated) proof of the lower price. This could be:
- A link to the competitors website.
- A screenshot showing the price, product details, and availability.
- A printed or digital quote.
Exclusions apply for products that are part of a promotion involving financing, gift cards, installation, rebates, delivery, cashback offers, bundled or bonus offers, trade-in offers, package offers, store credits, or coupon promotions; products that are advertised as display stock, ex demonstration, end of line, clearance, limited quantities, or seconds; special quotes; localized events with special pricing (such as Fieldays); grey or direct import products not sold through an authorized New Zealand reseller; duty-free or parallel imports; auction sites, marketplaces, third-party sellers, or second-hand retailers; distributors who supply direct; competitor advertising errors; stock liquidations/liquidators; and competitor clearance products or products with limited or restricted quantities. Some “box-store” (Bunnings, Mitre 10, PlaceMakers etc) prices may not be able to be matched due to external bulk pricing secured that we don't have access to meet.
A quote will be prepared for your request, and the relevant details will be present on the quote outlining where the price match is from. Where applicable, the price match will be made available on your account from the date of acceptance and may expire after a determined period.
Any price match that goes below our cost (negative margin) or is set net pricing (defined by the supplier) will require additional sign off by a manager and may be accepted only at their discretion.
At Linkup, we are committed to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring you receive the best value on your purchases. We will make every effort to process all price match requests promptly and fairly. Please note that price matches cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions, and all price match decisions made by Linkup are final.
Linkup reserves the right to modify or terminate this Price Match Policy at any time without prior notice. Policy changes will not affect approved price match requests made prior to the policy update.
