CC700 Anti-Graffiti Clearcoat
CC700 is a polyurethane clearcoat that provides enhanced durability and UV protection. CC700 is ideal for applications on trucks or similar vehicles which require constant cleaning.
Anti-Graffiti Protection: The superior cleanability makes it easy to remove graffiti, saving you time and money.
Enhanced Durability: Hard-wearing polyurethane technology and superior UV protection ensures your assets are protected against the elements.
Simple Application: A straight forward 2:1 mix ratio makes it easy to apply over any Valspar Industrial Mix polyurethane topcoat.
CC700 Properties and Application
Mix ratio: 2:1 + 10-20% VIM reducer. (RS603, RS605, or RS607)
Activator: AU570
Dry Film Build: 50-60 microns
Topcoats that will accept CC700: TB500/510/520/TY518

Factors of Selection
For the best results in lay down, through cure and ultimate performance of the coating, the selection of the correct Activator (and Reducer) is always of high importance.
Two of the biggest considerations when selecting the appropriate activator and reducer are:
- Ambient air temperature (the vehicle or unit will be sprayed in).
- The size of the job.
Failure to make the right selection can result in:
- Excess peel.
- Dry spray.
- Solvent entrapment.
- Solvent popping.
- Gloss loss, etc
