Blair Mason's 1995 Kawasaki ZXR400
The Story
This 1995 Kawasaki ZXR400 was painted in 2021 by Blair Mason, one of our suppliers' area managers, in DeBeer BeroBase 500 Basecoat; the colour is Kawasaki 189 Lime Green 2C.
Blair spent six months giving the exterior a rebuild from being painted blue, but as he says, "all Kawasaki’s need to be green".
Blair approached us for the paint for the job, and we were able to supply him with a high-quality mix, matched perfectly to the original colour thanks to our ICRIS computer system by Sherwin-Williams (previously Valspar).
The bike itself is pretty much stock but every bush, bearing, and axle has been replaced or greased.
Blair is planning on racing the bike in either the Post Classic pre 95 or the Prolite class.
