Bio

With a degree in Web Development and Design and a background in customer service, Damien came to work for the family business in May 2015 with no prior industry experience.

Starting in logistics and retail (including a small stint helping mix custom paint orders), Damien has moved through different areas of the business including working in the Auckland branch for 6 months when that was purchased back in 2018, and focusing on hazardous substance compliance in the Hamilton branch for 2 years after this, before moving into his current role as procurement officer after our previous purchasing officer retired in 2020.

Damien's main roles involve executing a consistent purchasing schedule from our suppliers daily, looking after the 300+ brands that we have access to, while also supporting other staff with customer support. He still looks after our hazardous substance compliance, and manages our websites and marketing campaigns.
